Reaching Full Potential

Houston Boychoir needs your help

This year is full of potential, and your support will make it possible. Your tax-deductible donation will help fund our educational programs, outreach initiatives, and the personal and artistic growth of these young voices.

Our theme for the 2024-2025 season, Music Without Borders, provides young boys the opportunity to sing and connect with diverse cultures from around the world, performing in a multitude of languages and musical traditions. Our ambitious programming reflects the spirit of unity and collaboration that defines the city of Houston.

This year’s schedule includes:

  • Performance for the CWA Human Rights Conference
  • Veterans Day concert with the Bay Area Chorus of Greater Houston and private performance for the patients of Michael E. DeBakey VA Hospital
  • Candlelight & Carols with The Heritage Society and holiday caroling at Mistletoe Market in Midtown
  • Guest performances at FUMC Lubbock’s Vespers Concert Series and at the Frisco Chamber of Commerce’s Music in the Chamber concert series
  • Special performance for The Woman’s Hospital of Texas
  • Sing4Life concert with the North Houston Children’s Chorus and Segundo Barrio Children’s Choir
  • Private performances for residents at local assisted living centers, including Brookdale Senior Living, the Doliver at Tanglewood, and Abbey at Westminster
  • A cultural exchange with Congregation Beth Yeshurun
  • Leading the national anthem at Houston Rockets and Astros games
  • In addition to these events, we’ll also hold our annual Winter and Spring concerts, where the boys will showcase the fruits of their hard work and musical journey throughout the year.

The year culminates in an exciting, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity: Houston Boychoir is taking 40 boys on tour to Buenos Aires, Argentina! This event will allow HBC boys to serve as ambassadors for their community, state, and country— while experiencing firsthand the universal power of music. Going on tour is a cornerstone of the Boychoir experience, a key part of their growth as individuals and musicians.

Together, we can make our mission of building men of character through music a reality—one note at a time.
